This area of the site contains my notes and short tutorials on things that I am learning. Teaching someone else is generally the best way to learn, so hopefully by making myself put this information online in a readable format, I will not only help others, but help myself.

Tech/Science

• R – a program and language for statistical analysis. Similar to Matlab, but free (and more confusing!)
• Macs – help for new owners from the perspective of a long time Linux/Windows user
• Bash/Shell Programming – reference for scripting at the linux/unix/mac command line

Fun

• Digital Photography – particularly for D-SLR cameras

I suspect that in time these lists will become even more unbalanced towards tech/work… I guess that’s what graduate school does to you.
